A new No-Left-Turn-Maze I made for the Confounding Calendar in 2023.
This was a nice break from working on ComboJumper, which I was beginning to burn out on. I experimented adding optional mouse controls in this one. With the speed of movement that the mouse controls afforded, I figured I could play with large swooping motions like the spirals in the center of the maze. The design was an experiment in visual theming: opposing spirals in the middle, diffusing forms emanating from each side, and big voids in the corners to lighten the density of the geometry. I had recently finished reading the first book of Christopher Alexander's The Nature of Order, and I couldn't help recalling some of his 'fifteen properties' while designing the maze - hence the voids :)
